Founded in 2010 by Natasha Rufus Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan, Beulah London was born out of a desire to raise awareness of the plight of women trapped by human slavery. Tracing its origins back to 2009, the two women had a life transforming experience through working in an aftercare home in the Delhi slums. Having witnessed the harrowing effects of the sex trade, the pair felt the need to raise awareness of this important issue. The term ‘Beulah’ itself is symbolic of the brands philosophy, representing the journey of each woman out of darkness and despair, into a new life of hope and restoration.

Beulah has supported the United Nations, ‘Blue Heart Campaign’ since 2011. The campaign raises awareness of the issue and horror of human trafficking and raises funds for its survivors to help them start new lives away from the pain and abuse. Beulah donates 10% of profits from their blue heart Shibani scarves to the campaign. Through this partnership with the UN, and the Beulah Trust, they hope to inspire other brands to join the fight against human trafficking and championing a future where freedom is not a luxury, and have celebrity supporters in Jessica Alba, Pippa Middleton and Kim Murray who all stylishly wear their blue heart Shibani scarves to raise awareness and make a difference.
